This is an American single malt from Cooperstown Distillery in Cooperstown, New York, bottled at 51% ABV (102 proof) in a 750ml decanter shaped like a golf club. The shape nods to golf's Scottish roots.
It is made entirely from American malted barley and aged for a minimum of two years in new American oak, then finished with the distillery's proprietary oak process.
Praline, candied apple and burnt almond come first, with the sweetness of malted barley and the structure of new oak beneath.
