This is the 2022 release of Cooperstown Distillery's Straight American Single Malt Whiskey, a limited edition presented in a baseball-shaped decanter. It is made in New York from 100% malted barley, aged in American oak and bottled in small batches at 51% ABV (102 proof), in a 750ml bottle.
The nose offers toasted oak, caramel and honeyed grain. On the palate come dried fruit, vanilla and warm baking spice, and the finish is smooth, rich and lingering.
