Cooperstown Springfield Basketball Decanter Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Cooperstown Springfield Basketball Decanter Bourbon Whiskey is a 45% ABV bourbon from Cooperstown Distillery in Fly Creek, New York, supplied in a 75cl hand-blown glass decanter. The decanter is shaped like a basketball, with a replica pebbled-leather stopper and a raised base styled as a basketball court. It won Gold for bottle design at the John Barleycorn Awards. The bourbon is a blend of younger bourbons and the distillery's small-batch bourbon, chosen for individual character and layered complexity. The nose is sweet corn, caramel and a touch of oak. The palate is smooth, with caramel and butterscotch, and the finish is sweet toffee and gently warming.
