Copeland 26.2 Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Copeland 26.2 is a peated single malt Irish whiskey, the distillery's first peated single malt, launched on 29 May 2026 in an outturn of 1,020 bottles. The mash is made entirely from peated barley, with phenols stated at 55 ppm. It was distilled twice in copper stills and matured for at least five years on the Ards Peninsula. The casks are first-fill ex-bourbon barrels together with charred ex-Pedro Ximénez casks. It was bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Charred oak and bonfire smoke lead the nose, with dried herbs, banana and orchard fruit. On the palate, sweet peat meets firm tannins, roast oak, caramel and apple pie. The finish is long, with smouldering peat, saddle leather, stewed fruit, salt and cinnamon.
