Copeland Merchant's Quay Green Label is an Irish blended whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV with no added colouring.
It combines malt and grain whiskey with components from Banyuls dessert wine casks and PX sherry casks. The grain whiskey gives a soft, gently sweet character, while the two wine cask components add fruit and depth.
The nose is fragrant and sweet, with banana, black currant, raspberry jam and oak. The palate is lightly dry and floral, with charred oak, salted butter crackers, apricot jam and mild clove. The finish is medium to short and moderately dry, with vanilla.
