This is a 9-year-old cask strength bourbon from Coppercraft, drawn from MGP bourbon casks. It is bottled at 110.04 proof in a 75cl bottle.
The extra years in cask show in the glass: the flavours last longer on the finish and have more richness than is usual in younger MGP bourbon. Honey, vanilla, oak, spice and pepper run into one another without losing their balance from start to finish, and the whiskey keeps weight and viscosity on the palate despite the strength.
