A Piedmontese red wine from Cornarea, made from Nebbiolo. It has an elegant, structured body with ruby to garnet colour. The nose shows red and black fruit, cherry, plum and blackberry, with violet and, with time, earthy, tobacco and sweet spice notes from oak ageing. The palate has vigorous yet silky tannins and lively acidity, with a long, persistent finish.
