Cortaccia Lagrein Alto Adige DOC

A red wine from Alto Adige made from the indigenous Lagrein grape. Deep intense red in colour. The nose shows dark berry fruit such as blackberry and blueberry, with dark chocolate and sweet spices such as vanilla from maturation in barrique. On the palate it has a robust but balanced structure, with well-integrated tannins and moderate acidity, leading to a persistent, pleasantly tannic finish. It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses.
