This is an American single malt from Courage & Conviction, made from 100% malted barley in Virginia and bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is matured for a minimum of four years in first-fill bourbon casks from Kentucky. It is bottled without chill-filtering and with its natural colour.
The nose combines caramel, butterscotch, vanilla and shortbread with a hint of cedar. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with vanilla, toffee, orange oil, toasted coconut and graham cracker. The finish is creamy and lingering, with cinnamon and mild barrel spice.
