Courvoisier VS Cognac (70cl)

Courvoisier VS is a cognac in a 70cl bottle from a house that oversees every stage of production, from the grape to the finished bottle. Its history reaches back to the nineteenth century, and the label still carries the name 'the Cognac of Napoleon', after Napoleon Bonaparte's admiration for it. On the nose there are ripe apricots, dried figs and dates, yellow flowers and toasted sweet spice, with sandalwood and fragrant oils. The palate is rich and vigorous, ending in a very intense finish. It suits room temperature, in a wide, round-bellied glass, sipped slowly.
