Cragganmore – 12 Year Old

Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery founded in Ballindalloch in 1869. It was the first distillery to take advantage of the railway for transport, with its own siding on the Strathspey route. Charles Cree Doig designed the distillery, and its name comes from the local hill Craggan Mor, meaning big rock, which supplied the stone. The nose opens with orange and lemon oil, then toffee, roasted almonds and malted biscuits, with a gentle floral note. Citrus carries onto the palate with sweet toffee, malt and oat biscuits, clean and refreshing.
