This is a 1989 Cragganmore, an independent bottling from Malts of Scotland, reference MoS23003. It is a Speyside single malt at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery stands near Ballindalloch, between Grantown-on-Spey and Aberlour, and its name means 'big rock'. John Smith, who had worked at Glenfarclas and Macallan among other places, built it in 1870 beside a railway line. The line has since closed and is now part of the Speyside Way.
The whisky was popular from the start, and a large share of it went into blends. The distillery now belongs to Diageo.
