Craigellachie – 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Cask Finish

Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt finished in Bas-Armagnac casks. It is the first release in the distillery's Cask Collection. The whisky is matured first in American oak, using a mix of re-fill and re-char Bourbon barrels. It then spends just over a year in Bas-Armagnac casks from the northernmost part of Gascony, in France, for a second maturation. Craigellachie uses traditional worm tub condensers, which add extra flavour and give the spirit a robust, full yet aromatic character.
