Craigellachie 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the Craigellachie Cask Finishing Collection.
The spirit was first matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then spent just over a year in Bas-Armagnac casks from the north of Gascony. It is non-chill filtered and has no added caramel colouring. It was ranked in the Whisky Advocate Top 20 of 2022.
The nose is green apple, pineapple and tangerine with heather honey. The palate has baked apples with cinnamon, caramel shortcake and a warm brandy note. The finish is medium and warming, with wood spice and ginger.
