Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, aged for 13 years in a mix of American and European oak casks. It comes in a tube, in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery condenses its spirit in traditional worm tubs, copper coils that turn the alcohol vapour back into liquid. The nose has green apple and vanilla with a hint of peat smoke and honey. The palate is rich and oily, with malty sweetness, ripe fruit, dark chocolate and oak spice, and the finish is long, with caramel and spice.
