This is Craigellachie 13 Years Old, a single malt from Speyside. It spent 13 years maturing in oak casks.
The nose is ripe fruit and honey with a touch of smoke. On the palate, sweet malt leads, balanced by a little spice, mainly pepper and vanilla. The finish is long, with a slightly peaty aftertaste and a lingering fruitiness.
