A single cask Craigellachie from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled on 20 January 2009 and spent 16 years in a first fill Madeira hogshead before being bottled on 15 December 2025.
The Madeira cask adds a new dimension to the oily, spicy character of the distillery, where honey aromas lead. Cask number 209 gave 306 bottles at a cask strength of 55.9%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
In the glass, a fine sweetness runs through red berries, candied citrus and a touch of sweet malt.
