A 17-year-old single malt from Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, in a 70cl bottle and presented in a tube.
The whisky was matured for 17 years in carefully chosen casks.
The nose is ripe apple and pear with vanilla and sweet malt, plus light smoke and spice. The palate is full and oily, with dark chocolate, caramel and a pinch of black pepper. The finish is long and smoky, with a slight astringency.
