Crater Lake Estate Rye is a straight American rye from Bend, Oregon, made from a 100% rye mash. The rye is grown on the estate and the whisky is distilled on site, using water drawn from a deep mountain well and filtered through lava rock. It is kosher-certified.
The spirit is distilled once a year in small single batches and matured for at least five years in the high desert climate. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV, which is 93 proof.
Expect bold rye spice with toasted grain, black pepper and dark honey, then a dry, warming finish with herbal and earthy notes.
