This is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Cream of Kentucky, in a 75cl-sized 750ml bottle. It is a Summer 2024 release, distilled under master distiller Jim Rutledge and made to keep the brand's 'double-rich' flavour promise.
The name dates back to 1888, when I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio introduced it. The Schenley Company acquired the brand before Prohibition ended and re-introduced it in 1934. Through the 1930s and 1940s it became one of the leading bourbon brands, with artwork by Norman Rockwell.
