A 30 year old Deanston from the Highlands, bottled by Creetown Distillers from a single hogshead at a cask strength of 51.5% ABV. The outturn was 203 bottles, and the whisky is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
It is described as honeyed and citrus-led, with a waxy texture and gentle sweetness.
The nose offers honey, lemon zest, soft vanilla and polished oak. On the palate it is gently oily, with honeyed sweetness, citrus oils, creamy malt and a little spice. The finish is long, with lingering lemon, soft oak and delicate sweetness.
