Crémant de Limoux - Domaine de La Baume

A Crémant de Limoux from Domaine de La Baume, made in the heart of the Limoux wine area, one of the oldest historic French sparkling wine zones. Traditional grape varieties such as Mauzac, accompanied by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, give structure and finesse to this elegant traditional method wine, with a second fermentation in bottle. Prolonged ageing on the lees enriches the wine with aromatic complexity and a very fine perlage. In the glass it shows a bright straw colour, with delicate aromas of green apple, white flowers and subtle bread crust notes. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, with lively acidity balancing the softness, making it suitable for aperitifs or pairings with fish dishes and fresh cheeses.
