Créole Shrubb is an orange liqueur from Clément, made in Martinique. Its base is Clément agricultural rum, distilled from fresh sugar cane juice, with citrus, mainly oranges, macerated in the rum. It has a golden amber colour and a complex aromatic profile. On the nose there are candied orange, sweet spices such as vanilla, and hints of tobacco and wood from ageing in old oak barrels. On the palate it offers balanced sweetness and citrus acidity, with a long, persistent finish that is refreshing and slightly spicy. It can be served neat or used in cocktails.
