CRN57 12 The Cairn Distillery Blended Malt Scotch

CRN57 12 is a twelve year old blended malt from The Cairn Distillery, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. The distillery stands in the Cairngorms near Grantown-on-Spey, and its coordinates are printed on the label. Matured in oak casks, the whisky gives a first impression of the character expected from the distillery's future single malts. The nose brings apple, bitter walnut, cinnamon, clove and orange. On the palate, orange chocolate meets raspberry and apple sweetness with a little pepper. The finish is lasting, with notable oak and balanced fruit.
