CRN57 18 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The series name refers to the latitude of The Cairn distillery, the 57th parallel.
The Gordon & MacPhail blending team put it together from malt whiskies that have matured for at least 18 years.
The nose is crisp apple, blueberry, candied citrus peel and raisin, with toasted almond and brown sugar. On the palate come banana, milk chocolate and hazelnut, with strawberries and cream and a little spice. The finish is fresh and clean, with lime, mint and a touch of pepper.
