CRN57 Vision Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

CRN57 Vision is a blended malt Scotch whisky from The Cairn, near Grantown-on-Spey on the northern edge of the Cairngorms National Park. The distillery's own blending team combined mature malt whisky stocks. Gordon & MacPhail, the independent family company that owns The Cairn, bottles it at 40% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The CRN57 name refers to the 57th parallel, where the distillery stands. The nose combines vanilla cream and blueberry cake with green apple, gooseberry, lime and summer berries, with cocoa and oak. On the palate, crisp apple and citrus meet raspberry, fig, aniseed and Brazil nut. The finish pairs citrus with pepper.
