CRN57º is an 18 year old blended malt from Cairn Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. Cairn created its blended malts to mirror the flavours of the single malt now maturing in its casks, and this 18 year old belongs to the core range.
It is described as having a sweet palate with hints of pepper and oaky notes.
The nose brings crisp apples, blueberries, candied citrus peel, raisins and toasted almonds with brown sugar. The palate has banana, milk chocolate, hazelnut, strawberries and cream, and a touch of spice. The finish is fresh lime, mint and a hint of pepper.
