Crognolo Toscana Rosso IGT Tenuta Sette Ponti

Crognolo is the first wine produced by Tenuta Sette Ponti, originating in 1998 within the Moretti Cuseri family's wine project. It is made from a careful selection of Sangiovese from a unique clone, with a touch of Merlot for immediacy and longevity. The wine shows an intense ruby red colour. Its complex bouquet brings ripe red fruit such as cherry and berries, violet, aromatic herbs and spicy notes. On the palate it has body, savouriness and softness, with juicy tannins and notable freshness. It suits roast or grilled meats, braised red meat and game dishes.
