Quercus Alba is a single malt Irish whiskey from Crolly distillery in Croithlí, County Donegal, and part of its Coillín Darach Oak Series. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in virgin American white oak casks. The spirit is double distilled in direct fired pot stills, and it has a straw colour.
The nose is delicate, with apricot, cherry blossom, sweet nutmeg, mace and pear drops. The palate shows green fruit and verdant oak, and the finish is dry and spicy.
