A single malt Irish whiskey from Crolly distillery in Donegal, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Coillín Darach Oak Series, which uses the species of wood as the main way of shaping flavour.
The whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in virgin Quercus Robur oak from Slavonia in Croatia. The spirit is double distilled in direct fired pot stills.
The colour is straw. The nose is deep redcurrant fruit with winter spices, and the finish is robust and dry.
