Crow 86 Bourbon (75cl, 43%)

Crow 86 is an American straight bourbon bottled at 43% ABV, or 86 proof, which is where the name comes from. It comes in a 750ml bottle. The style is a corn-forward, sweet bourbon with charred oak behind it, and it can be taken neat, over a large ice cube or in an Old Fashioned. The nose offers caramel and vanilla, toasted grain and gentle charred oak. On the palate come butterscotch, soft brown sugar and baking spice with a little cinnamon warmth. The finish is medium and dry, with vanilla, toasted wood and a mild peppery close.
