Crown Royal Black is a Canadian blended whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 45% ABV. It is aged in charred barrels.
It is described as robust and dry, with cocoa, toffee and caramel aromas, and espresso, cigar wrapper and leather on the palate. The finish is bold and spicy, with a burst of alcohol heat.
Other notes mention a deeper oak background with sweet maple on the nose, a creamy palate with dried fruit, mainly fig, and deeper bourbon notes in the finish.
