Crown Royal Black is a Canadian blended whisky made at the Crown Royal distillery in Gimli, Manitoba. It comes in a one-litre bottle at 45% ABV.
The blend is matured in heavily charred oak casks, which give a deeper colour and more wood-driven flavour. It is distilled from corn, rye and malted barley.
Oak leads the nose, with sweet maple and warm vanilla. The palate is creamy and full, with fig, maple and soft vanilla. The finish is medium to long, with bourbon-like warmth and lingering sweetness.
