Crown Royal Blackberry is a flavoured Canadian whisky, infused with natural blackberry flavour and bottled at 35% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made at the Crown Royal distillery in Gimli, Manitoba.
The base is a blended whisky made from rye, corn and barley and aged in new and reused charred oak barrels. The blackberry is added before bottling.
The nose is fresh blackberry with caramel and toasted oak. On the palate, vanilla gives way to floral blackberry and then ripe blackberry jam. The finish is of medium length, with tart blackberry, caramel and a trace of charred oak.
