Crown Royal (37.5cl, 40%)

Crown Royal is a blended Canadian whisky at 40% ABV, in a 37.5cl half bottle. It comes from the Crown Royal Distillery in Gimli, Manitoba. More than 50 individual whiskies are blended together, from a mashbill that leans mainly on corn with rye and barley. The spirit is aged for at least three years in new and re-used charred oak barrels, and the blend uses water filtered through limestone beneath Lake Winnipeg. The nose shows vanilla, light oak, dark caramel and maple syrup. The palate is creamy, with caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit and a little spice. The finish is sweet and clean, with vanilla and oak.
