Crown Royal – Northern Harvest Rye Canadian Whisky (75cl, 45%)

Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye is a blended Canadian whisky at 45% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It was the brand's first standalone rye. Canadian rye grain is the focus. The whisky is distilled at Crown Royal's distillery in Gimli, Manitoba, on Lake Winnipeg, and blended from the house recipe of 50 distinct whiskies. It was named World Whisky of the Year in the 2016 Whisky Bible, the first Canadian whisky to win that title. The tasting notes describe apple pie, cereal and mild spice on the nose, apple, custard and caramel on the palate, with spiced vanilla and butterscotch in a creamy texture, and a smooth, creamy, well-balanced finish.
