Crown Royal Reserve 12 Year is a Canadian blended whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Launched in autumn 2024, it is the first Reserve from Crown Royal to carry an age statement.
The blend brings together five whiskies, each distilled separately on column stills from rye, corn and barley, then aged for at least twelve years in charred American white oak barrels. The Master Blender chose them from less than one percent of the distillery's aged stock at Gimli, Manitoba.
The nose offers pear, apple, vanilla bean, toasted oak and white chocolate. The palate is smooth, with pear, apple, caramel, baking spice and a little rye. The finish is warming, with oak, soft fruit and gentle spice.
