Crown Royal Salted Caramel is a flavoured Canadian whisky, bottled at 35% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It starts with the brand's blended Canadian whiskies, distilled in Gimli, Manitoba, and adds caramel with a little sea salt. The salt keeps the sweetness in check. It is a seasonal release, made for the colder months.
The nose is buttery caramel, vanilla and warm cinnamon with a soft salty-sweet lift. The palate is smooth and creamy, with toffee and soft caramel, gentle oak and whisky spice beneath, and a light salinity. The finish is medium and silky, with fading vanilla, soft toffee and a touch of salt.
