Crown Royal XO is a Canadian whisky from the Master Series. It starts with the brand's signature blend of fifty whiskies, which is then given a second maturation in French oak ex-cognac casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle and comes in a grey-gold felt bag. It is part of the permanent range and follows the discontinued Cask No. 16.
The nose is mild and muted, with vanilla, caramel and light oak. On the palate it is balanced, with vanilla, spice and rich dried fruit. The finish is of medium length, smooth, with light vanilla and subtle spice.
