Cutty Sark (75cl, 40%)

Cutty Sark is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. Its malt character comes mainly from The Glenrothes in Speyside, set alongside grain whisky. The name comes from the 19th-century clipper ship. Berry Bros. & Rudd first blended it in 1923, and it was designed to be lighter in colour and flavour than many Scotch blends, originally with American drinkers in mind. The nose is vanilla and fresh citrus with light oak and baking spice. On the palate come vanilla, lemon zest, caramel and toffee, and the medium finish fades with toffee and citrus peel.
