Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 50%)

Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition is a small batch blended Scotch whisky made as a salute to Captain William McCoy, who smuggled Cutty Sark into America during Prohibition in the 1920s. His reputation for dealing only in genuine liquor gave rise to the name 'The Real McCoy'. It was released 90 years after that era ended. The blend combines single malts with grain whiskies and is bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof, against 40% for the regular Cutty Sark. Hand-selected American oak casks were used, and the black glass bottle is sealed with a cork. Vanilla and citrus fruit are the signature flavours, and the whisky is described as very smooth and complex.
