An 11 year old single malt from Daftmill, bottled at 58.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was filled into a first-fill PX hogshead on 27th July 2009, and 321 bottles were drawn from the cask.
The cask was selected by the Berry Bros & Rudd team and bottled exclusively for them. The Optic barley was grown in Daftmill's South fields, harvested in late August 2006 and stored on the farm. It was malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007 and distilled in the summer season.
