A 15 year old single malt from Daftmill, a family-owned and family-run seasonal distillery in Fife, in the Lowlands. Farm work comes first, so distilling happens only from June to August and from November to February.
The whisky was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2022 at natural cask strength. It was drawn from twenty-eight casks, all first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.
The chariot barley was harvested from the farm's Dam Park and Curling Pond fields on 31st August 2004. It was among the last to be malted in Fife by Robert Kilgour & Co before they closed.
