Daftmill 2006 is a 15 year old Lowland single malt at cask strength, 55.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled in 2022, with 5,340 bottles produced.
The barley was Chariot, grown in the Dam Park and Curling Pond fields and harvested in 2004.
The nose is fresh green apple, ripe peach and subtle oak. On the palate come bright grapefruit, crisp citrus and delicate spice, and the finish is long and warming, with oak and zesty citrus.
