This is a Lowland single malt from Daftmill, the farm distillery in Fife, released as the Summer Batch Release of 2021 at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled in July 2010 from Optic barley grown on the southern fields of the farm, the last time that variety was used for distillation. It matured for 11 years in 25 first-fill bourbon barrels from the Clermont Springs Distillery in Kentucky, and 6,250 bottles were filled.
It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
