Daftmill – Winter 2010 (70cl, 46%)

Daftmill Winter 2010 is a Lowland single malt from a working farm distillery, run by the Cuthbert family since 2005. It was distilled in the winter of 2010 from Publican barley harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009 and malted in Alloa in the summer of 2010. The bottling is a blend of 25 first-fill ex-bourbon casks, aged for over 12 years on the farm. It is a limited edition at 46%, non-chill filtered and with natural colour. Daftmill distils only in midsummer and winter, the quietest times on the farm, so output can be limited to 100 casks a year.
