Daftmill Winter Batch Release 2010 is a Lowland single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 at 46% ABV. It is a limited release of 6,550 bottles, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in 25 first-fill ex-bourbon casks in a dunnage warehouse. It was made from publican barley grown on the Daftmill family farm, harvested in August 2009, which gives the bottling its farm-to-bottle character.
The expected notes are orchard fruit, wood spice and crème brûlée, lightly dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg.
