This is a 10 year old Dailuaine, a Speyside single malt bottled in 2022 by Elixir Distillers for its Single Malts of Scotland range. It is a single cask bottling at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It combines whisky distilled in 2006, 2010 and 2011. It is natural colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose is malty and spicy, with ripe fruit, dark grain and an earthy depth. On the palate it is full and robust, with strong malt, fruit, restrained sweetness and spice, and an oily texture. The finish is long, warming and structured, with spice and malt.
