Dailuaine 11 Year Old is a dark, sherried single malt matured in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled for the Long Valley Selection.
The nose is a powerful sherry one, sweet, with dark fruit and dried plums. On the palate come vanilla, liquorice, malt, sherry and caramel, with a faint, slightly salty note. The finish is long and warming, with pleasant wood, tannins and a light sea breeze.
