This is a 9 year old Dailuaine single malt from independent bottler Single Cask Nation. The colour is olive oil.
It is described as malty, nutty, rich, spicy and oaky.
The nose opens with freshly split sticks, oatmeal raisin cookies, toasted hazelnuts and brown Licorice All-Sorts, then settles into a rich maltiness with a delicate pepperiness. The palate is oily and rich, with warmed walnuts, melted dark chocolate, dark roast espresso beans, pipe tobacco and warm leather. The finish is long, with dark chocolate, ground pepper and a nutty note.
